This massive three-disc set from 1997 was a welcome addition in Carpenters fans’ collections. Two big items of note here are the live Bacharach/David Medley that was first placed on the Japanese ANTHOLOGY, so it made its US debut here. The other item was the remixed Oldies Medley from NOW AND THEN. With only “Da Doo Ron Ron” among the missing, every track is remixed and without the DJ and sound effects.
Liner notes, which were printed in an undersized booklet (possibly to accomodate cassette packaging sizes), feature a fairly extensive interview by Gary Theroux.
