————————————————————————————————————————

This compilation appeared around the turn of the millennium first in Asia and other parts of the world (1999), and later in the US (2000). The worldwide version had the portrait-looking, John Engstead photo on it, while the US version used the goofy-smile, Annie Leibovitz photo. The discs though were identical. New here was a short segment from a TV show called THE SPECIAL LONDON BRIDGE SPECIAL, where Carpenters had done a reprise for the song “For All We Know.” The 0:44 segment doesn’t have the greatest audio quality, coming from a TV soundtrack, but it’s at least something new. Richard also added a bridging segue between “I Won’t Last A Day Without You” and “Close To You.”
