A 1988 Japanese compilation, this time celebrating composers.  They had entries in the series for Nichols/Williams and Bacharach/David too, but this one celebrates the composing abilities of Richard Carpenter and John Bettis, containing tunes from all ranges of Carpenters albums as well as Richard’s solo effort.

Some years later, Universal would release a similar-themed CARPENTERS PERFORM CARPENTER.
