This is Richard Carpenter’s 1997 attempt to get “back in the game,” compiling a largely instrumental solo album comprised of remakes of Carpenters songs and a few of his later compositions.  A couple of tracks actually have new accompaniment to older backing tracks, so even Karen gets a credit here.  The overall effect though is a bit of a letdown as these tracks mostly sound like generic instrumentals.
